Solstickan is one of Sweden's most iconic symbols, originally created as a matchbox brand in 1936. The famous logo of the running boy was designed by Einar Nerman*. Solstickan later became connected to charity work through the Solstickan Foundation, which supports children and elderly people in Sweden.
*Einar Nerman was a Swedish artist, illustrator, and caricaturist, best known for his elegant and playful drawings. He became famous for illustrating children's books, theatre posters, and portraits with a distinctive light and decorative style. Nerman was an important figure in Swedish visual culture during the 20th century.

Method of Payment
We accept payment by personal cheque, money order and through PayPal. Credit card payments can now be made via PayPal.
All items are kept by the donators until shipped, so multiple items may be in multiple locations. Anyone who has donated shipping usually donates
parcel post shipping, with no insurance. If you want faster shipping or insurance, you may have to pay for it.
